Agardites are frequently found in the Lavrion mines and are highly valued by micromount collectors and mineral photographers.
Agardites from Lavrion display a variety of colors, yet they are incredibly challenging to identify. According to Dr. Branko Riek, an expert who has studied Lavrion minerals for many years, most Agardites exhibit "zoning." This means that each needle often consists of multiple minerals rather than just one. Despite this, Agardites remain one of my favorite minerals to photograph and collect. Here are a few pictures of Agardites that I love.

Agardites from a minor area linking Christiana 132 1st level with 2nd level.
FOV: ~2mm

A small Agardite aggregate next to a Cuprite covered by Malachite from Hillarion mine on the 50 level.
FOV: ~3.5mm

Agardite-ND is a type locality (TL) mineral, and this specimen originates from the discovery area located on a small intermediate level between the 2nd and 3rd levels of the Hilarion mine. Additionally, there is a minor presence of Adamite.
FOV: ~3.5mm

Agardite-Y from the 4th level of Hilarion mine, this Agardite is always found (in Lavrion) together with Aurichalcite (lower blue formations) and Hydrozincite (white tuffs).
FOV: ~2mm
